Re: injector nozzles

depends on who is doing the injectors. if you want power and tow that boat and thats it id say you could go all the way up to 190's if you wanted to. nozzles are the most expensive part. it cost about what it cost to do the bodies so say that doing all your injectors to 175's runs 500 (thats an exageration figure). if you wanted to do say 75% nozzles with that it would cost somewhere around 1100 or so to do the full body and nozzles. personally im going to get 175's with stock nozzles for now and if i want more power then i will put nozzles on later

Re: injector nozzles

If you are going to run a stock charger, I wouldnt go much bigger than 155s or so. I put some 155s in a buddy of mines truck with a stock charger and I was pretty impressed. It had the grunt of a truck with a tow tune in stock form. Smoke cleaned up real well, and the power curve seemed a little smoother. And with a hot tune, the charger could never clean up the fuel. 155's with a different nozzle should be about 40% ish more fuel than a stock injector.

Re: injector nozzles

well if you keep stock nozzles but just do the bodies the stock charger would do good. and if it needed some help you could always get a batmowheel to go with it

Re: injector nozzles

I personally hate tearing in to something over and over again, which is kind of what it looks like you plan to do here. I can understand and relate to the high price tag of injectors but IMO, I would figure out what size you need (both body and nozzle), save up and get them, install them, and tune the truck for them and upgrade around them after that like a larger turbo or batmo or whatever. It is easier and cheaper IMO in the long run especially if something breaks. I just know the more times you tear into something the more that can go wrong. Just my $.02
