SCT X-3 Custom Programmer

Have 2006 F350 SuperDuty 4x4 dually. Just received new X-3. Leaving on trip tomorrow (10th) Pulling RV weight 9500#. Should I use Street cef or Tow Brake cef? While using either, should I also use the "Tow/Haul" button on my gear shift lever? Thanks

Re: SCT X-3 Custom Programmer

I would use the tow file and keep an eye on the oil and coolant temps. My 06 would get hot pulling my 10k trailer. It would do fine as long as I kept the egts below 1000.
