Defueling when I get on it

I know its supposed to defuel at 4K RPM for safety but is there any way to turn it off?

1993 Ford F250 7.3 IDI RCLB 2wd-pump tweaked
1993 Dodge W250 5.9 RCLB 4x4-Under Construction! (AirDog II, 5x22's, NX, ARP's, HT3B single, ATS trans, rollcage, tubbed)

You will need to adjust the rev limiter with a tuner. I dont recommend raising the red line.

I believe your gonna start floating valves at 4500. Why are you running it so high ?

03 Rescue is Dead

I always thought floating valves had more to do with high boost levels than it did with rpms could be wrong though. Either way at revs greater than 4000 rpms it starts getting hard on things like LPOP gears and I dont think the HPOP (Diesel Injection Pump) likes it either.

I won't be running far over 4 grand but I'm tired of getting on it and it defueling and practically stoping in the middle of the street

I have heard that vivian raises the rev limiter to 4150 on her looney tune.

Sorry Vivian from Quick Tricks Auto, is the one who provides the "Looney Tune" for our trucks, and is very popular with great customer service. I presumed you heard of her and either way she is a custom tuner.
