Bad injectors

Well shop just told me that I have 4 bad injectors in my 2003 6.0L. Since I have 4 bad injectors and I was planning on upgrading eventually anyways I guess its time to start looking and getting some opinoins. I use my truck as a daily driver and tow rig so I'm not looking for huge HP gains just a little more then stock injectors provide.

So I am looking for some addvice on which would be the best to go with for my application? Any help would be greatly apperciated I would like to have my truck back up and running soon.

I currently have EGR delete, cold air intake, 4 inch turbo back exhaust, and an edge juice with attitude on my truck.

Re: Bad injectors

For a little more the 155cc injectors is what I would recommend, but be prepared to do studs sometime in the future!

Re: Bad injectors

You also may want to look at getting SCT and some custom tunes if you run the 155cc injectors.

Re: Bad injectors

So thinking of going with a set 155cc injectors with a regulated return. Question about doing the heads though. If I go a head and do head studs while I already have it turn down other then checking the block and head to ensure they haven't wrapped is there anything else I should have done to them since they aren't leaking now?

Re: Bad injectors

Replace your oil cooler while its apart.
Then I'd look into a coolant filter for your truck.

Re: Bad injectors

Have the heads shaved even if they are the least bit warped and Ive never seen a set that aren't.

I would only add to do a modest coolant flush and put some ELC in there.

Yep, get the heads fully checked out. Magnafluxed, pressure checked, checked for flatness, valve job if necessary, etc. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right the first time.
