banks high ram on the 6.0

i got an 03, i was curious what the banks high ram does, or any other intake elbow upgrade. i know its purpose, but is anyone running it and feel a difference? i got a bone stock 03 with 89k mile all its got is an 5in exhaust.

03 eclb Whistler
6inch procomp, 37x13.5 m/t atzs, 18x12 pacer, 5in straight pipe, sct x3, and glowshift guages

you wont notice a difference with it. I use to have the banks high ram intake elbow...now it just sits on the work bench haha. I have a CFM+ large mouth intake elbow now.

I agree. Spend the money on other upgrades, updates and rebuilds kits on the truck.

How do you use your truck and what are your intentions?


egr modification or delete, there are many ways.
Custom tuning.
coolant filter
ARP head studs

I have the BD one that came with my turbo. It’s the same as the banks. Won't notice a difference, but if your truck has the throttle body on the intake you can order and 05 version to eliminate that.

I went with a CFM+ intake elbow about 3 years ago but at the same time I did it I also did an AFE stage II intake kit and a magnaflow 5in turbo back exhaust (4in down pipe to a 5in exhaust) and I noticed a slight power increase and picked up about 2 mpg. Keep in mind that was with stock tuning.
