Re: Injector parts

Try contacting an injector builder and see if they have any left overs, But your rarely gonna find parts like that as they have to be sent in as a whole for a core. Unless someone has cores sitting around.

Re: Injector parts

the reason im asking is i have a friend that modifies 7.3 injectors for a bomb price, as he does them for fun not for a living, not sure how hard hes tried but he cant get parts for the 6.0 injectors, if he could i would have him mod some for me for some inexpensive upgraded injectors

Re: Injector parts

I wouldn't just trust anyone on injectors, even builders say they are a pain 7.3 injectors are easier then 6.0 but good luck on it

Re: Injector parts

If you need injector parts, the best place to get them, is Ford...just buy a new injector.

Re: Injector parts

if he is modifying your injectors and they run fine now then you shouldnt need parts. all you will need is nozzles.

Re: Injector parts

so is that all the injector builders are doing is modifiying the nozzle size? what is meant when people refer to injectors as 190/100 etc and are they just testing to know that a certain size in the nozzle is a certain cc or is it more technical than that?

Re: Injector parts

Man, I've searched hi and low for the same thing. Not because I planned on modding injectors. I just was curious how it was done. Think you got a better chance of getting Jesus to tell you how he walked on water.

most builders do it differently lol. im not going to give out any specs for sizing but stock parts can be used if they are in good condition. builders mod the parts inside the injectors to there spec. only part that has to be bought and swapped in is the nozzles unless your sticks are junk.
