Turbo or injectors

I had my funds set aside for GOGO intake manifold while doin studs but id have to wait a month or so. In saying that, what would the next best route, powermax or aset of 190's. W/ the 190's im only going that big cause I want room to grow for twins or a bigger single. The powermax would just b a stepping stone.

Re: Turbo or injectors

do injectors now, and de-tune them go with a bigger turbo down the road. If you want a bigger turbo a powermax is a waste of 1250 bucks... just my opinion

If he wants to go big power theres no sense in spending the money for a powermax when he's just going to be removing it. He can get the big injectors and tune them down so its driveable until he gets a different turbo setup thats all..

By no means am I saying a powermax is a waste, thats what ill be running with 190's in the future unless I decide I want a non VGT, i probably should have worded it better the first time around, its been a long day

Re: Turbo or injectors

AH ok I was about to say My set-up did 555hp and blew the boost tube off and I still had room to play so honestly very nice turbo in the end. Ive ran both non vgt and vgt so I can judge both sides.

Big numbers is kool on a dyno but that doesnt mean your driving it everyday either you throw in NO2 on a dyno thats only for the run you wouldnt be doing it everyday. The Tune I did 555hp on I drove every day and ya my stock tranny finally gave lol.

Re: Turbo or injectors

eric at ID told me back when i was gonna do sticks and turbo...told me to do injectors first before the turbo. The injectors can always be turned down until you get the turbo you want. He said it's easier to tune that way.
