zf6 and tunes

To make a long story short anyone else that has a zf6 and running performance tunes. If so when you are driving it and shifting quickly your motor still stays at the high RPMs even with your foot off the gas. Iam i the only one that notices this??? I have erics tunes btw

Re: zf6 and tunes

Have the tuner put in the 'Jake' option, it will pull the RPMs down.

Call Eric and tell him what's going on. Mine did the same thing on the Extreme Street tune. Talked to him and he tuned 95% of the "hanging" out. Still does it a little but nothing like when I first got the tune.

Re: zf6 and tunes

I've got Cale's tunes and it definitely hangs between shifts. I've been told that because I had it tuned before I installed my Adrenaline I have too much oil pressure and it's taking the IPR a split second to dump the extra pressure. I've also been told it's just a matter of sending the chip back for a quick tweak on the tunes. Doesn't bother me now, although I found it irritating when I first got everything together. Not sure what you're running for tunes (besides being eric's) but mine's most noticable in the 60hp tow and 80hp street tunes.

edit: oops, just noticed this was in the 6.0 section.. sorry guys!
