Thinking about running her down the track...

Hey guys,

I have an '03 6.0 CC SB, and I will be attending the 7 Day Traveling Car Show when it makes a stop in Montgomery on Monday. I will not be able to compete at all, but I figure I can clean her up, enter, and have a great time at the car show.

Here's the kicker, from 1-4 PM they will be opening the 1/4 mile track for all car show entries if they would like to run down the track. Should I do it?

I have the basic mods, ARP's, EGR Delete, SRL+, 4" Exhaust, AFE Intake, etc. I will probably still have a fuel tank of fuel by then, but I figure it'd be fun just to run her down.

Here's my only issue. I had a cylinder 4 contribution code pop up the other day on my Insight CS. I was thinking about just throwing two bottles of Rev-X in and seeing if it fixes the problem. No misfires, rough idle, etc. Do you guys think I'd be okay to run her down the track a few times?

And if you think it's alright, do you guys have any tips for drag racing? This will be my first time going down a track.

Throw some rev-x in if you want, and let her eat!

Any idea what your fuel pressure is running down the track like that (any extended burst)

Re: Thinking about running her down the track...

It will drop down to about 50 PSI on a WOT run, but an AD 2 is on the way.

Yep, it holds 65 PSI at idle, and I've never seen it run below 45 PSI.
