6.0 BHAF

Anyone ever tried installing a BHAF on 6.0. Going to attempt to shoehorn it in my daily driver. Looks like PS tank may need to be moved and battery moved to other side. Might not work out very well but just wanting to give it a try. And if it turns out ok I'll make sure and take some pics and list some info of what was used.

Re: 6.0 BHAF

Well after a little messin around with a template I made of the filter it will fit but the driver side battery will have to be moved to the other side or relocated somewhere else. I'm pretty sure I can get both of them on the passanger side. After I get it finished and anyone else is interesed I'll try to give you all the info I have on doing it.

Re: 6.0 BHAF

What's the reason for putting such a big intake filter on the truck and having to then trying to relocate the battery. Why not just get your typical cold air intake(AFE, Banks, S&B, etc). What makes you think this will be better?

Re: 6.0 BHAF

What filter would you use? If you are thinking the 6637 napa why? It flows less than the 6.0 stocker

Filter is only about 45 bucks and good for 100k miles and should flow as good as any aftermarket kit that costs several hundred dollars. It's 10.5" in diameter and 10.5" long as well. Lots of Cummins guys run them. Sorry for the cursing.
