Of course it'll work in a twin setup. As long as you set up everything else accordingly it should work just fine. BD makes some good quality products and i'm sure their turbo will work quite well.

Re: BD thruster vs II 62/70

I have the original thruster and it works well. My truck got great mileage towing but it was Smokey. I have been tempted to buy the diverter valve but I can't see spending the money. Right now I’m happy with my other turbo.

What injectors are you using with it?

Re: BD thruster vs II 62/70

I think they are really close to the same price...but with the BD you get the diverter valve and adaptor. (The adaptor "looks" nicer then the II one...how they compare, I'm not sure.)
And I think the measurements are the same as well. 62/65/70.
I was hoping that they would offer the diverter valve with larger turbos then just a 62...alas, I bought everything but the turbo, and am using it all on a BW 66mm.

Re: BD thruster vs II 62/70

How about using a 64 mm. In a twin setup? Has any one done that? That might get me closer to where I want to be in a single setup for now..

Re: BD thruster vs II 62/70

I had a 64mm over S480 in my blue truck and for now am just running the 64mm with diverter valve and it's working out real good. Can't wait to throw another turbo at it one of these days though....not sure what I'm gonna go with this time though
