How long does average muffler shop take to do 5 in straight pipe

if you bring it to a shop they should be able to knock it out in a day

Don't know. I did mine myself. Cat back took me about 45 minutes, down pipe and cat about hour. No lift just on the garage floor. So I would expect them to be faster.

if you do it yourself it shouldnt take that long. i built mine from stratch, with the proper tools i did it a few hours. including a few trips to napa

1.5 to 2 hours is what most shops charge to put a turbo back exhaust on

2002 ext. cab lwb 4x4 7.3
05 front 08 rear conversion
4in lift,forged rod motor,tunes by tsd,bts trans,6.0 transcooler,6 autometers to watch,studs,springs,push rods,238cc hybrids,itp reg return,stealth hpop,tsd custom fuel system and sump,an so on
6.0's pay the bills and 6.4's soon..

We usually qoute 1 - 1.5 hours to install a turbo back exhaust.

I did mine in my drive way without liftin the truck, 5 inch turbo back straight pipe, took me 1:45, u just need to cut right spots and its cake

i took it to the shop today the did 4in from turbo back i was in and out of there in a hour! it sounds pretty good from what i can hear in the cab

Not to steal your post, but how much does that usually cost for the 4in downpipe to a 5in straight pipe.

06 F250 FX4 lariat. Many upgrades coming soon.
