Other than what the pyrometer reads what other data are you looking for? When you turn the water on and the puro stops increasimg and starts coming down. Thats enough info for me. I love it.

That really depends on how much fuel you have. My Truck is different than yours. But to answer your question. The reduction in heat across the board is significant from to hot to good.

Re: Water kit

I saw about 200*F decrease when pulling my holiday trailer.
The adjustability on the Stage 3 is awesome. You can set it for boost pressure or EGT's.

Re: Water kit

Love my stage II snow performance kit. Have 2 nozzles(625ml and 175ml). I only use it when i see a steep grade coming up or if i get on it hard. The stage III kit is the ultimate water kit from snow with more adjustability than the stage II. Like extentedpower said...i've seen 200* temp drop in my egts using mine. When it comes on at full tilt, i can really feel the power difference and hear it in the exhaust tone.

It can be switched on the fly? I would like to be able to turn it on while towing a grade.

Everyone using just water or is it safe to use methenol too on a 6.0?

Yes it can be turned on whenever. It's boost activated. Or if you have the stage III kit...it can either be boost or egt activated.

Re: Water kit

I have run straight de-ionized water, -35*C windshield washer fluid, and have mixed my own batch of 50/50 that never got used yet. (Left it in all winter, so nothing would freeze up.)
