gimme your .02 cents worth need imput on upgrades

#1 my first question is about injectors. what would be the best all around size. i have a ARP Studs, stock turbo, custom intake( higher volume than K&N Cold Air kit) edge juice with attitude platinum edition runs on stage 5 ( i know, i know, im going to get a live wire). stright piped(no cat or muffler). i drive about 200 miles a day, i pull a small trailer at work every now and then. im looking for that happy medium of being able to smoke the other guy but not destroying my gas millage. im getting bout 19mpg right now. im looking at getting a car so if i loose a little to gain some speed its ok

#2 can i pull my injectors and have someone drill them out( if so reccomendations) if not who is the most reccomended for the best price.

#3 best bang for your buck, DIY mods, recomendations to gain HP and torque. i dont have a lot of money but i consider myself a rather good mechanic.

6.4 banjos and insulating inte-rcooler hoses hopefully this weekend.
EGR delete is next on my list
then Live wire soon as i can find some sucker to buy my edge

Definitely EGR delete and custom tunes then go from there. You got some tranny killer tunes on there right now.

i know. i got the programmer cheap when i frist bought the truck and thought since i got a $1K programmer for $200 it was a good deal. ive put 80k miles on it with no problems but i know the edge is a ticking time bomb

yeah I would look into the EGR delete and SCT with custom tunes. Get rid of that edge but the deal you gopt on it was pretty good. Along with this stuff some tranny upgrades would be good too.

Better question... what's your budget here?

No you can't just have injectors drilled out.

Re: gimme your .02 cents worth need imput on upgrades

well im kind of tryin to get an idea of what direction i wanna go in so i can make a budget. i dont see anything big like id like to do as far as like turbo upgrades etc for a while but im looking for some things that are under the 500 range. i guess i dont really know what i want thats why im asking. small upgrades to build a good strong platform so that when i do have the money to spend on a good set of injectors and upgrade my turbo ill have everything else done.

You don't need tranny upgrades yet. Not even close. These trans are stout stock. The key is proper tuning. Get good tunes and the trans should last a long time.

For $500, get a custom tuned SCT.
