Performance ?

My dad has an 07 6.0 he's got IDP tunes he's wanting to do a set of 155s and a powermax will this be a cool running setup and also what kind of power can he expect? Also will the stock tranny hold that setup up also will he need a duel system or anything?

Re: Performance ?

EGTs shouldn't be a problem, I never had any when I ran my 155s and the stock vgt. That setup should put down almost 500, with the right tuning

Re: Performance ?

Ought to be a great setup. Tranny should be fine as long as it doesn't have any issues right now. What kind of duel system are you talking about? If you mean oil, no.

Re: Performance ?

You would need something like an airdog 2 at least, and then the 6.4 banjo bolts would help and a fuel pressure gauge is a must.

Black smoke don't mean it's broke... it means your tuning sucks!

Re: Performance ?

I would get a regulated return before spending money on an AD or FASS. The stock pump can handle the 155s no problem
