srl vs srl +

I've been off warranty for quite some time now, thus i'm considering pulling the trigger on some tunes. So I guess what im asking is if anyone has tried srl and srl + back to back, and if so which do the prefer and why?

When I had my stocks turbo, I ran srl. The srl+ made too much boost. With the powermax, I run srl+ and it hangs at 30-35. I believe Matt changed some things in his tune since I had it on mine though. Maybe he will chime and and clarify. Every truck is different. See which one yours likes.

yeah perhaps i will try the slr then as i don't really want to over spin the turbo too much.

yes studded. stock turbo, 4" exhaust. actually similar to your truck as im also running 35" tires and same year.

Which tunes do you have from gearhead if you don't mind me asking

I think this is how it goes.
SRL is for non studed trucks
SRL+ is for studed truck only
SRL++ is for trucks who cant hit 30psi on SRL+

I will also add that I love Matt's tunes on both trucks

I can get 17+ on the hwy driving 70-75. 14 and change with mixed. Thats with SRL +
