Edge Insight issue

I purchased an Insight about three weeks ago, and I have had an issue with the unit. I have to disconnect the OBDII connector about every third or fourth time I start the truck. The unit will not power on if I do not. I am posting hoping someone out there has seen this or has had similar issues. I emailed Edge a little over a week ago, but have not seen any kind of reply. Also curious if anyone has a contact at Edge to try and get the (Beta?) firmware release allowing my late build 04 to read some of the PID's that the 05 and up crowd get on their Insights

Re: Edge Insight issue

Have you installed the fusion software on your computer and connected the insight to check if any updates are available? If not I would suggest that.

Re: Edge Insight issue

If it doesnt come on try just touching the screen instead of unplugging it and see if it comes on.
