Ford put TONS of miles on the 6.7 in the 4-5 years it was developing it...They had Oil companies in Alaska, and TX driving some, Everyone who has one seems VERY Pleased so far from what I have read.
I would have hoped to hear that they would have put tons of time testing near GCWR
through Death Valley in the middle of the summer. Once an engine is up and running and warm, the cold becomes somewhat irrelevant. Keeping an engine alive and performing well in extreme heat, especially near the limits is much more challenging.
Much more relevant for the climate I live in than the oil fields of Alaska, but I suppose they probably buy more trucks up there than we do here in the desert southwest.
