auto enginuity

i bought the ford bundle from you about 2 weeks ago because i was told i could turn the egr duty cycle off with it. could you explain how to do this?

05 cc sb 2 inch lift with 315/70r17 hankook dynapro a/t, zoodad, auto meter phantom2 boost and fuel press., banjo bolt mod, afe 3.5" dp into 4" no cat, accufab racing intake elbow, edge evolution, garrett powermax, egr delete, sct w/ innovative tunes, with a peterbilt emblem on the grill!!!

If you are meaning permanently, the only way to do that is with aftermarket programming.

I would have to plug into a 6.0L to verify, but if EGR DC is an "actuation function" in the Ford factory tool, it will be in the actuation list in AE as well. Actuation items are located in the actuation section at the bottom of the screen (see the screenshot below).

WHO told you that the EGR could be turned off permanently?

even the screen shot above does not look like a 6.0 but I do beleive that was mentioned

I think the only permanent change for the 6.0 is tire sizeIIRC

it's a great tool and will be a great asset but you need a few more items to get it dialed in
