does anyone know anything on yamaha outboard motors? need a little help.

Little ones you pull a rope to start. Big ones you turn a key to start. If it runs, but the prop don't turn, check the shear pin. My entire knowledge on outboards. Hope it helps.

Florida's fishing forum and The Hull Truth forums are really good sources of info.

its a 2003 Yamaha V150TLR Outboard Motor and the boat has been sitting so long at my grandparents that the gas went stale. so i finally got it to crank up somewhat but the motor isnt pulling any water through the vents near the prop. iv been told it could be the impeller thats bad.

yama you have to test with lower in water not on hose with ear muffs will not pump water been there done that.

Mud dawbers! Or burnt pump, you didn't start it w/o muffs did ya?

Doesn't roll with anyone or tag along to be cool...
