P2287 on new rebuild

This code occurred after the first hour of idle time. New sensors all around and new harnesses. Runs rough from idle to 1000rpm then clears up. Icp is reading 600s at idle and 800s at 1000rpm. And the ipr is at 25% to 30%. My injector pulse width is .90-1.09. ficm 48-48.5v. and 13v going into the ficm. I did delete code once but came back 10mins later of idle time.

Re: P2287 on new rebuild

Did you replace the ICP sensor? Is the wiring on the pigtail all bent up? Also, you're not letting a brand new engine idle for an hour are you?

Shoulda bought a Cummins.

No gb remanufacturing for both icp and ipr. Always use this brand on the 7.3l I had for all my sensors and never had any issues.

Re: P2287 on new rebuild

I am not a fan of aftermarket sensors and actuators. Have seen way too many problems arise from using them.
