Horn/cruise control

I have a 2 part dilemma or maybe it`s all connected. 2005 F250 I bought about 2 months ago. One of the cruise buttons was broken so I replaced the buttons. Now the strange part, the cruise would work, sorta but only if I pushed the off button and it set the speed. The set, resume didn`t work. Yesterday I`m driving and the horn starts blowing. I hit the horn pad and it stopped but did it a couple more times. 3:50 this morning my horn starts blowing in my driveway, so I unhooked the batteries. From what I can find on forums and YouTube, it could be a bad clockspring or the horn contacts but I don`t have an air bag light on. So I don`t know what direction to go in.

Re: Horn/cruise control

You wont automatically get a airbag light with a bad clockspring.
I would look into the horn "relay" as well.
