More 6.0L cold star issue, hopefully fixed.

Since I bought my truck used it has always had cold start issues. The dealer had it two times. Did nothing, until now. This time they found out that the truck had been used as a snow plow. All that snow crammed in the grill rusty stuff. I.E. the problem, the Cam position sensor was completely rusted and not working. It sent to signal. So the engine doesnt know what cylinder to fuel at start up, so it sends no fuel at all. The tech had to drilled into to it to rip it out it was so bad.

So if your 6.0L doesnt start in cold weather well (or at all) the Cam Position Sensor is something to check. Hope this helps some.

More to come, I have a LONG wishlist.

Re: More 6.0L cold star issue, hopefully fixed.

Here's a vid of my truck starting dead cold in 20* weather after sitting un-plugged for 24+ hrs. Just put in a new Camshaft Position Sensor, because the old one was all rusted (previous owner used a snow plow on it and jammed snow in the engine bay) and would relay a crappy signal or no signal at all. That was the root cause of my cold starting problems. The difference is amazing!! Runs great now. Check it out in the snow of MI.
