Straight piping

I know 6.0's have problems stock or modified and it's just a hit or a miss, and I just was wondering would a straight pipe effect a completely stock 6.0 and make it prone to fail faster than if i left the normal exhaust on? I just love the 6.0 sound and would like to get a straight pipe put on, but i will sacrifice sound if it will make the truck break down.

Re: Straight piping

Straight is Great! More so with a set of internal mufflers in the stacks. It brings the cackle to life!
