Sinister Diesel or Ford Oil Cooler

I know there are some older threads out there that talk about the Sinister Diesel oil cooler just being an OEM Ford oil cooler but they list two different coolers on their website. There is a pretty big price difference between the two as well.

Anyone know what the difference is?

Use the ford oil cooler. Its more reliable IMO.

Re: Sinister Diesel or Ford Oil Cooler

agreed
Sinister was /is? selling a NON OEM unit that was touted as "upgraded"
but in reality it ran hotter than the OEM just like any of the other aftermarket units do

Re: Sinister Diesel or Ford Oil Cooler

Thanks. Sticking with the OEM cooler.

Maybe put in a BPD oil-air cooler later but can't afford it at the moment. So OEM it is.
