Re: solution kit help

There are lots of companies that sell complete kits with what you're looking for. Most of the time they do not come with rocker box gaskets. I pieced mine together.

For about 1500$, i got

head gaskets (black diamonds)
studs
egr delete with up pipe
2 new injectors
every seal i touched on the engine (including exhaust manifold gaskets)
cat delete pipe
thermostat
stand pipes
riff raff CAC boots
machine work on the heads

I feel like there is more but that is the jist of it.

Re: solution kit help

the 2 injectors and studs would normally be about 800-950 of that 1500
you shopped well if you got all that and heads serviced for 1500
either that or you add up vehicle expenses like Me

Re: solution kit help

I don't see how you got that for 1500. I'm trying to save all the money where I can so I can fix this truck up right. I just bought it for 2k. Needs 4 injectors I'm going to do all 8. Needs headgaskets coolers and water pump. I also have to get the seats redone and truck body work fixed before I bring it home to my wife

Re: solution kit help

just watch out
a lot of "solution " kits appear to have an OEM oil cooler when in fact they are some under performing aftermarket unit

Re: solution kit help

I get employee parts cost at ford. That's how I got everything so cheap. Got studs with gaskets for 535$, injectors for 200 each, machine work for 260$(I know machinist), Egr delete for 60$, plus all the gaskets I touched on removal.
