Dummy Plug Kit question

Newbie Here. I have a 2004 F350 6.0L that I am getting ready to work on, I just received my Dummy Plug and Standpipe kit, (a ford packaged one.) There is a silver bolt with oring on it and hex head and a larger blue oring in the bag along with the plugs and standpipes. Can anyone explain where these 2 additional items belong? I have watched several videos on doing this project and they are not mentioned or shown in the videos I have watched. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Dummy Plug Kit question

I know for fact the bolt with the hex plug is for the driver's side oil rail. On the back side of it you will find a similar bolt. Just take out the old one and install the new one. This is where the IPC sensor would go if it were installed on the passenger side. As for the other o-ring, I can't remember! lol For some reason I want to say it's for the CCV box, but I'm not 100% on that.

You are correct. The o-ring is for the CCV Tube.
