P0275 code need advice and help

So I have replaced injector 5 for a third time now and had the connection for the FICM cleaned which caused a issue with injector 5 as well in the past. The code is still coming up and I am stumped on this one. Anyone else had this issue or have any advice or help? Only thing I can think of is possibly need a new FICM or wiring from FICM to injector has a short or issue. Thanks for advice and or help in advance all!

Which cylinder on the engine are you changing the injector on? Third one back on passenger side? I have seen people get this wrong before. If you are changing the correct injector, who's injector are you using? It's probably not a Motorcraft.

It's the correct injector replaced 2 and 5 last week 5 wasn't getting enough fuel under load and 2 was over fueling. 2 is fixed and good to go no codes or issues. Injectors are from ford had issues with re manufactured ones in the past so only go with Ford ones now.

How did you diagnose the under/over fuel? So then you have a Motorcraft injector, that's good. I've never seen or heard of the FICM causing one injector
not to fire, anything is possible tho. Maybe take your injector harness off and look it over real good, and look at the pins in the FICM. Then if you still have a problem try a different FICM.
Also do you know if #5 has good compression? How does it sound when the engine is cranking?

Re: P0275 code need advice and help

truck is running and sounds fine to me. My diesel mechanic actually changed the injectors and ran all the compression, under/over fuel test on it before we changed them. he was a diesel mechanic for ford for 13 years and now has his own shop that he has had for years and specializes in 6.0s. I am taking it back in next Wednesday to diagnose and see if we can figure out what the hell is going on with this thing just trying to get some different ideas to look into as well as pitch his way when I go in and we start tearing it apart. FICM has created issue with 5 injector so we will def try a different FICM and see if it helps. Hoping that the case looking to upgrade to a 58v FICM anyways just tired of chasing this ghost in the machine.
