vaccum/heater problems!

I have no vaccum in my cab to the heater controls, I have vacuum at the vac canister when I pull the vac lines off tho. My truck does not have auto hubs so I don't have vac lines that could leak there. Mr question is this, if I have vaccum under the hood but not in the cab, where am I losing it at? If I'm not mistaken, if I had a vac leak in the cab somewhere, wouldn't the canister lose it vaccum fairly quickly and the vac pump be kicking on a lot? That isn't the case for me, the canister will hold vaccum overnight which kinda tells me I don't have a vac leak. I took the connection lose at the plug behind the glove box, the black and white vac lines, if I'm not mistaken, the black line is coming directly from the vac canister and going to the blend control knob, the white line goes to the water shut off valve under the hood, is that correct? Thanks

Re: vaccum/heater problems!

yes your right about the vacuum line black is the feed and white is the heater shut off, but is your pump running all the time? also pull the liner from the fender and you will see the vacuum lines going into the firewall they are easily traceble

Re: vaccum/heater problems!

No, pump will only run for a few seconds, then kick off. Thanks for the reply!
