Where's my coolant coming from?

Just replaced my radiator and refilled the degas bottle to minimum line. Kept checking it to top off as air bleeds out. Added maybe another quart when the level dropped. It's been just fine temp wise but every time I check the level COLD it's around the max line. I've drained some out a coue times to get it back to min ( I have the pre updated sticker where min is max). Keeps creeping back up around max. Any ideas?

Re: Where's my coolant coming from?

Doesn't smell like fuel, and not really bubbles just turbulence from where the tube comes in to feed coolant. That's obviously while it's running and at operating temp

Re: Where's my coolant coming from?

If you're not overflowing the degas bottle, and no fuel in your coolant, you probably just added a bit too much coolant, and should be fine

Re: Where's my coolant coming from?

It does leak a bit but I figured it was due to overfilling. When I replaced the radiator I also replaced the degas bottle and cap. Don't think it's head gaskets since there's no smoke, changed oil a couple days ago and no contaminants. No foam in degas so... Idk never experienced this issue. Runs great otherwise

Re: Where's my coolant coming from?

My truck is doing the same thing. Some days it's at "Min" other days it's over Max, when it's over max it spills. I don't understand why it's doing it. There's no consistency in it. warmed up or cold the level fluctuates.
