Very high EBP. Help me out.

So Drew and I are working on a high altitude tune. He asked for some numbers from me to tweak the tune. One he asked for was EBP in kpa, with the truck not running and key forward I'm showing 260.07 kpa. Is this common for high elevation or do I have a malfunction somewhere?

2007 CC, Lariat, 6.0L, TreadWright guard dogs, straight piped out the back, egr delete, blue spring, 6.4 banjo bolts, high idle mod(bcp), bulletproofed, SCT Livewire TS with Drews street runner(under development for high elevation), Innovative, and Vivian's tunes, ww2.

If I remember correctly 14.7 PSI = 100 kpa (about). You may have a biased EBP sensor!

260.07 kpa is 37.71 psi

Yeah but I'm getting that number with the truck not even running. With it running it's 350 kpa and if I get in it real hard it will go up to 900 kpa. I'm think something isn't right I'm just not sure if the altitude is the cause or some malfunction. I thought I read somewhere that the SCT has trouble with some readings at this kind of elevation.

Your altitude has a little to do with it, not that much. 14.7 is at sea level I think you lose about .1 per 1000 feet roughly. What does your BARO read?

With your KOEO your BARO,MAP, and EBP should all show close to the same readings.

KOEO Baro is 78.3 map is 78.75 EBP 269.21

Thanks for the help guys, I guess I'll be reading up on the cause of bad EBP readings and how to clean/replace it.

im at 3500ft and my baro reads 14.5 fyi

95 f250 ECLB,silver/purple 199k FFD 350/200s, arps, comp 910 shimmed, BTS ZF delete, glowshift EGT,Boost,trans temp,6" aussies,6637, 6.oh IC,dual sd elec fuel. irate T4, S475/96,136k 97 motor. Twin termies

Plans: twin turbs, crowers and fresh rebuild.
