Odd lighting problem

2005 F350 FX4, problem started all at once on my way home from work. When I use the signal lights the dash lights come on and the radio goes dim, like if the parking lights are on but flashing opposite of the turn signal, and my aftermarket brake controller flashes like I have the brakes on. If I hit the brakes the dash lights up and the brake controller also. If the headlights are on only the right turn signal works, the left lights up solid and the brake lights come on solid, along with the trailer brake controller. I replaced the turn signal switch and headlight switch....neither fixed it. I hope someone else has seen this problem and knows the solution!

Re: Odd lighting problem

This is most likely a very simple problem that makes it's self out to be complicated. My vote is for a bad turn signal bulb. The turn signal filament has broken and flopped down on to the park light filament, thus shorting the 2 circuits together. Change the left tail light bulb.
