Exhaust upon start-up; what's normal?

Hi guys,

What are you guys getting out of your tail pipe when you fire you truck up in the morning?

I am getting a few second of white-ish smoke followed by a 4-5 puffs of black crap then it clears out.

Mine is deleted with all of the updates. Just finished installing a bullet proof FICM. Going to get it studded in the near future and I have the stock exhaust system with stock cat.

Heard the BP FICM sometimes clears this right up but it didn't in my case; either way, I purchased it for other obvious reasons.

Is this normal?

Thanks,

-h

White-ish smoke that goes away is condensation. Formed from the heat of the exhaust and cooler air. Most automobiles will do this when the weather is cooler. As the outside temps increase overnight this white-ish smoke will not appear.

You see, in this world there's two kinds of people my friend....those with loaded guns, and those who dig.

You dig.

Alright, so this sounds normal to you then.

Thanks.
