Front passenger window problems

So went out to feed the horse today, rolled down the driver window and passenger window. Went to roll them up and only the driver window went back up. I don't know too much about this part of my truck, I tried the switch on the passenger side and same thing. All other windows function fine, but the passenger one won't roll up with either the switch on the driver side or the switch on the passenger side. I noticed that even though it's all the way down if I push the button down the motor does draw current and attempt to go down, up is completely dead no sound what so ever. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Front passenger window problems

I had this happen to my truck. Turned out to be the driver side controls, replaced unit problem fixed.

Re: Front passenger window problems

so just that switch on the drivers side, is what you're thinking? If that's the case then I would have to guess that the two switches(driver and pass) are linked somehow.

Re: Front passenger window problems

Happened a few years back, they replaced the entire assembly on the drivers door?

Re: Front passenger window problems

I would try to get a hot wire to the motor or at least to the PS switch and make sure the motor would roll it up.

Re: Front passenger window problems

Is there a good 12v source close to that motor?
