Engine replacement question

Hey guys new to the forum and need some knowledge, I have a recently purchased 07 cclb 4x4 with a 6.0. Long story short It died on the road the other day and just wouldn't start back up. Dealt with replacing the dummy plugs, stand pipes, and the ipr and rebuilt the turbo. I went to drop the oil pan and out came the oil with a couple of needle bearings, I can only assume it's from a bad lifter. my question is this, I found a complete donor engine from an 05, but I dont know if it will be plug and play.. I know they did some changing of the hpo system in the 04 05 area. I don't wanna really have to deal with re wiring anything but for the price I can't pass it up. Anybody have an idea or a shot of the engine bay from an 05. I just want conformation they Are similar. Thanks

Re: Engine replacement question

05-07 will fit fine few minor changes but electrically the same only thing might have to relocate is ebp sensor early 05 is same as 03-04 late 05 is same as 06-07, just swap out the lt manifold ebp tube and sensor from your 07 it is direct swap

Fixing ford diesels since before they had turbochargers
