hard start/stumbles on throttle up.

Just serviced truck. Oil filter and fuel filters. Now truck is had to start. Have to cycle key a few times. As it trys to fire up stumbles and lopes hard for a minute then smooths out. Runs fine till take off from stop it hesitates and puffs white and sometimes black smoke and then runs normal. Any help would be appreciated...

Re: hard start/stumbles on throttle up.

I have been watching my gauges (SCT live wire) and the ficm main internal injector V is bouncing all around from 24-43. I know 48 is the magic number. Is the ficm the problem?

uhm if your volts are that low yes. They shouldn't go under 47 IMHO. If they are lower than that the ficm is either shot or on its way out
