Power Problems

hi I am new to the site but have been reading info from here for awhile. I have a problem I cant seem to figure out. First off my truck is a 2005 f250 Head studs, egr delete, 4inch turbo back with S&B intake. I have a sct tuner with innovative tunes on it. So I went to the track today and had it on extreme x tune. Had the truck in 4x4 launch was fine but truck feels like it falls down. Went 14.40 @ 92mph. Then I put in on the anarchy tune and it went 14.29 @93mph. On my way home I put in on the performance tune and it feels way faster than any of the higher tunes. Im thinking it has to be a fuel problem. Anyone els had this problem. Also the tires a 33inch tall.

Re: Power Problems

Sounds like your injectors aren't able to keep up.
Do you still have a stock pump? Stock Injectors?
Might want to start there.
Stage 1 Injectors/Regulated Return/Upgraded pump sound like realistic upgrades if you plan on staying at the track.
Just my 2 Cents.

Re: Power Problems

Blue spring totally changed my stock 100k truck. Fuel mpg went up empty and towing. Great essential $74 mod. Install new cover....it is slightly different.

Re: Power Problems

Get some way to monitor fuel pressure. See what it's doing when you hammer down on it.

Re: Power Problems

I did it too but you can only expect to go so long with a street setup at the track. Good Luck to you. The blue spring upgrade will only take 30-45 mins with basic hand tools.

Re: Power Problems

You may want to use 6.4 banjo bolts, with the blue spring and 6.4 banjo bolts you should be good to 500 HP.
