Icp sensor

My truck been idling like it was missing scanned for codes. And had icp sensor code. I put new icp sensor in and truck won't start now.... so I put the old one back on and it fired right up... bad sensor?? What yall think?

Where you get sensor? is it ford part? I just put aftermarket one on mine it ran for 3 hrs then died. I put original 13yr old factory icp back in it fired right up. I only changed it bc it was leaking a lil.

its a bad sensor, aftermarket ones are junk and ive gotten ones from international that were bad out of the box

It certainly sounds like a bad sensor, but you need to also inspect the ICP connector and wiring closely. The early ICPs were bad about leaking oil that degraded the insulation and caused intermitant no-starts. Where is your ICP located?

Where is your ICP? Passengers valve cover or under the turbo?

mine is on the valve cover..
