Re: Another No Start 6.0

That icp has to be 500 or more to start. You either have a bad sensor or regulator or a internal hpo leak. Did you unplug the icp and try starting it?

Re: Another No Start 6.0

If you do not get more than 275 psi ICP when cranking, then you most likely have a leak. Have you tried cranking w/ the OCP unplugged? Have you done an air pressure test of the HPO system?

Do you know if the fitting off of the HPOP (the STC fitting) has ever been replaced?

(edit - I guess I am a little slow this AM - lol)

Re: Another No Start 6.0

With it unplugged the pcm couldn't get a reading so it made one up in an effort to start itself. That was a way to test the sensor. That was not you psi, you have an internal leak and will need to air test it or just buy and replace all the known trouble spots. One or more of them is likely the culprit. They are the STC fitting, stand pipes and dummy plugs. Also a faulty IPR is a less likely candidate but should be examined as well.

Re: Another No Start 6.0

If an air test doesn't indicate a leak then the hpop would be suspect. Is there any chance you could get it hooked up to a scan tool, like AE or some other diagnostic tool?

Re: Another No Start 6.0

being that it is a 2006 my, your HPOP is most likely just fine.

Re: Another No Start 6.0

i don't hve acess to a compressor. so i cant do the air test. the only scan tool i hve is from palmer performance engineerin. i bought it when i had my dodgeee.

quick question; should i change my oil cooler and do an egr delete since im goin in there, just a thought. don't know if it was ever done. bought he truck used over a year and six months. had 194566 mile when i bought it so im not too sure as to all hat has been done to it. my deltas are at the most 4 degress apart but my temps run like from 198 - 204 degres acording to my edge insight. i dont hve any tunes and just replace radiator n temostat about 3 moths ago
