Guys I'm lost i have a high pitch squeal coming from the turbo side of the engine. It doesn't do it all the time but when it does it goes away once my turbo spools. It mostly does it after you drive it for a little and at idle.
i will be taking it apart tonight to figure it out. Im just trying to find a place to start. Im gonna take off all the rubber boots and make sure there are no cracks or leaks.
Put a truck back together last week, drove it. Customer got here and as soon as we went to drive it suddenly had a squeal at 10psi. Small crack in bellow of uppipe.
This is not the first time something like this has happened to me. Anytime you install an egr delete or move the pipes around after they have been set up, they have a chance of cracking.
