Drove down to bts becasue it would be cheaper for me to do that then to ship my tranny down there!
so i have been talking to brian for a few days about what was going on and he said stop by if i could so i drove down there and on the way i called brian to let him know what time i would get there and figured i would just see him in the morning, told him i would be in town around 8pm and he said to come rite to the shop so i did and he had a bay already open for me to pull rite in.
brian and one of his guys had the tranny out, found the hole in the converter, needed a new flexplate cuz it was warped, put the new flexplate, new converter, and tranny back in in less than an hour!!!
before he started he called and reserved me a room at a local inn.. after he topped off the tranny fluid he walked in the office and brought me out a t-shirt with bts on it and i asked him what i owed him and he said NOT A PENNY!!!!! i said you put a brand new flexplate on my truck i need to at least pay ya for that, he said nope not a dime, i was speachless!! so he had me fallow him down to the inn and said stop by in the morn befor i leave town.....
I wish everyone ran their company like Brian does. I remember I called him to ask about a valve body, for 25 minutes he talked my ear off and I sent him my CC number.
mine was just shy of 5k$ but thats with shipping and schaffers fluid, also i had to pay to have it installed when i got mine, if you go to bts i think brian installs for free!!!!!
yep even though hes a busy dude he will talk ya threw everything or about anything!!!
Thats why my truck has a BTS in it. Awesome person and staff down there. I just wish I still had my stage IIs in it like I did when I got the trans put in.
Was anybody else amazed at how fast the trans was taken out and put in?

While doing my CR conversion, I called to ask him if I should change out anything on my trans. He asked me to send my converter to him. He ended up lowering my stall speed.. When it arrived back at the shop, I called to ask what I owed. He said "Nothing"!
I've yet to do businesses, but he sure is an awesome guy to talk to and race with. When I met him he talked to me like he knew me for 10 years, very cool guy.
Hard to believe service like that even exists in this day and age... I could not believe all work was done on the ground, not a hoist in the place???? Went down there for my brother in laws install just to meet him and such. I already had a couple years on my trans, and spoke with him many times.
I'm hoping BTS works out for me. I have a spare trans so I'll give him a call and see if we can work out a trans for me. Isnt he located on east coast? I will have to see how much shipping would be.
Northern Arkansas. If you like fishing, take your truck to him and tell him not to hurry. Some GREAT fishing in that area.
EDIT: Just realized who I was replying too.!!! The fishing IS good there, but not worth the cost of shipping from your location.
