Unfortunately she's like a girl you see across the room in a bar. The truck looks good from a distance but when you get upclose you can see how bad the paint and body work is. I figure this is a good stopping point for now until I can afford to get a new bed and a complete paint job.
Credit goes to BigStroker(Paul) and to the guys at ORI in West Monroe.
Thanks. I like the de-badging idea. It will happen.
The tires are Wrangler MTRs. They are only D rated but I got a smoking deal on them. When they wear out I will get some Es but right now I don't tow anything larger than a Jeep so I'm really not worried about it.
Try taking your pics from the sunny side and not under a shade tree.
Taking pics of black trucks right around dusk works well too.
Truck looks good...I think...I can't see it enough to tell.
looks awsome!!, I liked it before though to!!lol, Im not a huge fan of the front and rear bumpers, but awsome lookin non the less!!!!, would look great with a 05+ bumper grill and headlights......
The tires are 315/75-16 and I think the bed is crooked, not the stack. We found out a lot of little things are off. The front right part of the frame is tweaked a bit from a previus wreck and when we tried to center the rear bumper to the bed it was off at the frame. Like I said before, you get up close and you can see how bad a hack job they did with the body work.
Haven't yet decided yet if I want to finish the body first or get the engine rebuilt. It's going to be a while yet before either happens but it drives me nuts knowing all the little things that I know need to be fixed.
There's not much done to it. It is straight piped and I have a banks 6 gun on it. We just put an ARB in the front and a Detroit Truetrac in the rear. The front and rear bumpers are custom and the winch is a Brute Force 17,500k.
The lift was on when I bought it so I don't know what brand it is but it looks to be about a 4". Future plans are a 6" lift with 38s, redo the interior to black and gray, and then it's either going to get dropped off at the body shop or Swamps, depending on how I am feeling at the time and how much coin I'm willing to spend. I want 500 at the wheels but by then I may want 700.
I just bought a new toy and I will be buying a house late fall or early winter so I'm done with the truck for a bit.
