So we find out were getting tossed out of our house Thursday. The motor blows in my dd yesterday. And today, a friggen molten piece of metal melts through my goggles into my damn eye..
Looks like its ok but it was damn close to the pupil.
Been in your shoes, the way i see it is everything happens for a reason....just takes a while to figure out the reason. It will come round for ya i promise.
SNake, was it Wednesday.? The days are running together. Maybe I had a day free. Is that good or bad.... I may be going a little crazy here. Damn copperhead snake tried to bite my cat in my garage yesterday. I turned it into pile of mush in a fit of rage. Hoping my sanity holds out. Pretty sure the people next door think I am crazy. Cursing at a pile of snake mush for five minutes sealed that deal.
I am usually good at keeping things in perspective, situations can sometime seem worse that they really are. Thanks for the kind words and to Snake for keeping me clear about the reality of the situation.
on edit, Snake was right, we have at least a couple months to find a place. The realtor was just trying to pull a fast one for one reason or another. Thanks for the advise brother.
In all seriousness, thanks for starting this thread.
I decided to sell my 2006 Grand Cherokee, less than 2 minutes after I posted the ad, someone called me about it. He looked at it and bought it.
I told him I would deliver it. My truck breaks down.
Don't know how much it's going to cost to fix my truck and now I don't have spare wheels.
All in all I would say you had a chittier day than I had.
Just think, someone out there is having a worse day than you.
Hope you find a house soon and take care of that eye.
I usually put in a Mel Brooks or Monty Python movie and say "Fuk you world, you don't have what it takes to put me down".
In my younger days I used to add a bottle of Gibson's Sterling Edition to that.
It seemed to help back then.
Good luck.
Thanks again fella's. It's true that there is always someone that has it worse. I guess that is why its important to always try to help people who are so you know what it is like from both sides of the creek. Time to get to turning things around.
Good luck with your truck beast!
Thanks again.
