Noticed this line hanging off the rear axle of my truck this morning and can't find where it's supposed to attach to. Anyone know? It's just a rubber hose coming out of that metal block and has a plastic end on it. I was driving the truck last night and didn't notice anything unusual going on. This i on my '05 F350 dually.
If you ever swap axles you can pop that rubber breather hose off then use a 1/2"? deep well or normal wrench to pop that little block off. Hang up your calipers, then you don't have to deal with bleeding brakes or swapping brake lines. Swap in new axle & your ready to go.
It is suppose to have a metal clip on it that attaches it to the frame close to the fuel tank.
