No. Splits cannot work as singles. It's mechanically fixed inside of the injector.
That being said, you can modify a split into a single, but I've never seen it done before.
The difference is in the plungers and barrels. A split shot plunger allows the fuel to be injected in a very small "pilot" shot, instantly backed up by the primary injection event.
Do you see the holes? They are what allow fuel to escape the barrel without being pushed through the nozzle. I'll try to get up some better pictures to illustrate.
Not true. But his post is somewhat misleading. The injectors are still firing a split shot, just works because his timing is delayed. I bet the truck runs damn smooth and quiet with those splits!
Yes it does sleeper with a lil more power as well.
