Temporarily.
Thinking about a 1/2" valve into a manifold then feed all 8 horns with the 5/16" hose ? I have a 3/4" valve sitting here....I could use that too.
I started putting the horns in tonight....the new ones face forward, the old ones rearward. Gotta pick up a few compression fittings tomorrow to finish it up.
and grins will stretch from bleeding ear to bleeding ear LOL
I am wondering how much louder they could get. Just thinking in terms like car audio. To gain 3dbs in output you need to double the power. Thinking its gonna be pretty hard to get noticeably louder then they already are, but I sure hope they can :evil
I talked to HB about doing this last truck and they said it would not be much louder because the db will still be the same i think it will be more directional though. I have a set now and they dont seem as loud as the set i had before the new ones have that little 4way ptc adapter which i think dont flow as good as the older brass style i am changing it to a cnc 4port block to see what that does!

Viair 480 with a 2 gallon tank. I know it won't last long but I really don't feel like redoing the tank right now....that will involve fabrication and welding.
A short blast usually gets people's attention anyway. LOL
If that don't give people nightmares I don't know what will LOL
I'm searching for me ear plugs already. Facing both directions should definitely help with the sound dispersion. I bet the military might come looking for you though to help with their sonic weapons department lol
I have two sets on my truck. One set going forward and the other set pointed directly down. One thing that I have noticed is the set that fires down is by far the loudest anywhere around the truck. I added the set firing forward and it didn't add really anything. I have two air tanks each one with a set of horns.
Anyway...got em plumbed up. The set facing forward makes it seem louder from the front for sure. I've never had my pants shake when I hit them and I'm standing by the door.
2 sets sure does drain the tank fast. LOL
I'll try to find the time in the next week or so to make a manifold to feed with my 3/4" valve and get a bigger tank. I'm sure I can squeeze in a 5 gallon tank somewhere under there. One 5/16 hose through the Hornblasters valve feeding 8 5/16 hoses can't be netting me the full output.
I'd love to face a set straight down on both sides of the truck....damn if I know where to do that though.
You mean this thing has train horns to? wow vids of you blasting them please
