so i noticed today that when i put my hub in the Lock position 1/2 of it sticks out. like not flush with the rest of the body but sticks past it. when i unlock it, it goes in a little bit past flush.
seems to lock and unlock fine, just is not flush like the other one. haven't had time yet to take it out and look at it, but did i break something in there? only a year old.
i dont know what hubs you have, sounds like you have the cheap plastic half turns. They are a spring assembly inside the hub that locks everything in, if it was broken or a snap ring had come off it wouldnt lock in. easy way to tell if its locked in or not is do you have 4x4? if you do thing sounds like they work fine to me. You wont have 4x4 if one is working and locked in and the other one isnt either locked in or broken.
where it's in the free position is recessed, when its in the locked position it sticks out. one of these days ill take it out and see whats up. the only think i can think of is the retaining ring might of come out?
thats what it sounds like, it happened to me this year mine got screwed up this year as well and that ring on the back broke some how. I dont think my turn lock moves in and out when i lock/unlock. Everything is internal.
