I have had this with a good many trucks. Customers lower tire pressure to ride better and then it shimmy's. There was a tsb about it a while back. If I recall you replaced the stabilizer checked proper torque on arms, etc. and inflated the tires to specs. Took care of it everytime!
think about the wieght pushing down on the tires, and the force pushing them side to side....tires are made to support a specific weight/force @ a specific PSI.
if that PSI is not correct, more so lower than higher, then the side walls will not offer the same support and will be allowed to flex to much. and that flex will transfer into the steering linkage, up the column and into the wheel...in severe instances it will actually move said components(much the same out come as a front brake pulsation)
Make sure not to put any lift,big tire or mod...:doh: Whats the fun in that.
Is this issues with all super dutys or for the coil-over trucks.
