I tried forever to find a black super duty but nobody had one. So I ended up buying a white one that was a great deal. Its a 2008 F350 I am just trying to see what I can do to make it look different/cooler then a buisness mans truck seams like all the companies around here have white super dutys.
I was thinking about getting the whole truck painted flat/matte white and doing some nice flatblack wheels(cant afford the paint for a few months). But the chrome grille wont look right and I think white just looks weird (to much white) and matte/flat black would look out of place ! This is my first truck ive ever owned always had nice looking cars I knew what to do with. Just confused with this one !!
id trade you if your truck was a long bed, and loaded like mine hahah i hate black, i miss my white truck. Black is way to hard to keep clean on the farm
Also Jesse@MBRP old truck (now owned by a member on here but I forget their name)
and 08stroker250 has a really sharp white 08 as well thats been through quite a few different looks. Before seeing these trucks I always figured a white SD was just another fleet truck or similar but they can be dressed up quite nicely.
FWIW. white trucks are where its at my manoke: It only looks like a fleet truck with stock wheels/tires and no window tint...really doesn't take much to set these truck apart from the rest. I actually think there was a white truck thread on here a while back, also I have owned 2 all black trucks and 1 all black car..personally I like white way better. Also, the white and black contrast just works!
yeah I had my tinter do my 2 front windows 20% cops around here can be a PITA when it comes to tint only the football players get away with 5% all around otherwise I would have done it.
5% up front and eye brow ... factory with 20% layered on top of that in the back! My black 97 OBS had 5% all the way around and factory layered with 5% in the back..never questioned once about it...knock on woodLOL
it would be 5% all around for sure but I am driving a lot on the highways towing trailers on the weekends and really late after bar close and state troopers in wi are the biggest pricks when it comes to window tint.
I hear you, post up pics of your progress. If i were you first thing I would do is level it out, smoke the lights, delete the 4x4 stickers, paint the bumpers! Then wheels/tires...but to each his own!
This is an 03 but you get the idea. White out, I painted the mirrors, grill and handles.
Im done with this truck, next will be an 08 white out on stock suspension.
my truck used to be a work truck, no tinted windows, no side steps, nothing at all lol when i picked it up from the last owner he showed me before and during pics of when he was building it, i was amazed. i should call him and get him to send me the pictures lol
I am thinking of painting my truck white. This is how I would set it up I think:
-White painted 05-07 grill
-Rino lined black front and rear chrome part of the 05-07 bumpers
-Rino lined black chrome crew cab step bars
-Flat black painted side badges
-Harley headlights and tinted tail lights
-20% or less tinted windows
-Black wheels
Looks good the way it is. Just flip the tires around black wall out and wash it every now and then. If it's just a toy then lift it and put some larger tires on it.
