If you are running an AFE-II with conventional batteries, AFE, in all there wisdom, located the drains directly over the CAC tube.
So any vent/overflow of acid will drain directly onto the CAC tube. :doh:
Y'all might want to keep an eye on yours if you run an AFE.
This happened in just the past few months. Last I checked my CAC tube boots was in the fall - and that mess wasn't there. Something else to be said about swapping to new AGM batteries.
I'll be pulling the CAC tubes out for sand blast and powder coat this week.
